FAQs

Who should take GI Cleanse?

Anyone who wants to support gut health and improve their microbiome. GI Cleanse is designed to reduce the 'bad' bacteria in our gut that contributes to inflammation, symptoms, and illness, and nourish the 'good' bacteria that benefit our health. Dysbiosis, an imbalance of the good and bad bacteria in the gut, has been found in 70% of IBS cases and can also cause symptoms related to mood, immunity, metabolism and more.

When will I see a difference?

The antimicrobial herbs in GI Cleanse will get to work straight away, but how quickly you notice differencees will depend on your starting level of gut health. It's common to notice improvements in bloating, regularity, and energy within the first two weeks of use. For individuals with IBS, SIBO, or chronic gut issues, we recommend taking it for three months to see the full benefits.

Are there any side effects?

Some people may experience symptoms of detoxification when starting antimicrobial support. Bacteria release toxins when they break down during antibiotic, antimicrobial, or antifungal treatments. When this happens, we may see symptoms such as headache, thirst, muscle aches, temporary skin flushing, or other signs of detoxification. This is normal, and usually subsides by the second week of use. If you do experience detoxification symptoms, we recommend drinking extra water, focusing on fibre, and resting.

Is GI Cleanse a laxative?

GI Cleanse is not a laxative, however, you'll likely see improvements in bowel function and regularity.

Can I take GI Cleanse if I'm pregnant?

No, if you're pregnant or breastfeeding you should avoid GI Cleanse.

What's the difference between GI Fix and GI Cleanse?

GI Cleanse is a herbal anti-microbial blend. It's designed to combat dysbiosis, including SIBO, candida, yeast and fungal overgrowth to help restore the microbiome. GI Fix is a herbal and probiotic complex designed to provide comprehensive daily gut support. It combats inflammation, helps restore gut barrier function, promotes movement and relieves sluggish bowel.
