What is NAD+?

NAD+ is essential to over 500 reactions in the body. It is required for energy production, cellular health, and plays a critical role in the Hallmarks of Ageing.
By the time we’re 40, NAD+ levels have dropped by 50% and continue to halve every 20 years. In addition to normal age-related loss of NAD+, lifestyle factors like diet, stress, sleep, and environmental toxins will also contribute to its decline. As this happens, we can experience a reduction in physical and mental energy, slower recovery, and accelerated ageing. Research has shown that this age-related degeneration in health is not inevitable, and in fact, is largely within our control. Why it WORKS
NAD+ is continuously being synthesised, metabolised, and salvaged within our cells to maintain healthy levels; in essence, it is a balancing act between how much we create, use, and recycle.
